Dr.Â Cinzia Citti is currently a Post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (since August 2017).Â Her current research focuses on the â€œResearch of Cannabis sativa extractive methodologies and analytical profilesâ€.
Dr. Citti’s body of work includes a Ph.DÂ in Chemical and Molecular Sciences, and a Masters degree inÂ Biotechnological Sciences. Her Post-doctoral scientific research includes a fellowship for the identification of chemical biomarkers of the olive trees infection by Xylella fastidiosa by an untargeted metabolomics approach,Â and a fellowship for the development of an HPLC-UV method
for the determination and quantification of plasma amino acids for the diagnosis of rare diseases.
Dr. Citti has conducted research in an international laboratory as a visiting Ph.DÂ student at the School of Chemistry of the University of Bristol, UK. International Scientific Collaborations with the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia (USA), and theÂ Laboratory of Medicinal Chemistry and Neuroengineering,
Department of Chemistry, Medical University of Lublin, Lublin, Poland.
She also has a collaboration with CNR NANOTEC â€“ Institute of Nanotechnology, Lecce, Italy.
