Bruce founded Tweed in 2013 & renamed it Canopy Growth Corp (CGC) in 2015. CGC was the first cannabis company in North America to be listed on a major stock exchange (TSX-V) in April 2014 and TSX in July 2016. And to be included on major stock index (S&P/TSX composite index) in March 2017. Bruce led CGC from a TSX-V listed start-up company with an $80M market cap to a NYSE/STX listed company (S&P/TSX60), which included more than 30 M&A activities, ranking #1 on the TSX30 with market cap of over $20B by mid 2019. During his tenure at CGC, Bruce’s leadership earned him market support for capital raises of over$6B in public capital markets & private placement, including a $4B CAD investment by Fortune 500 beverage company, Constellation Brands (NYSE:STZ).

Currently Bruce holds the positions of: Executive Chairman of Vireo Health International, Executive Chairman of Gage Cannabis Co, Executive Chairman of Wolverine Partners, Co-Chairman of Martello Technologies Group & Co-Founder of Ruckify. Special Advisor at Better Choice Company, Director with MindMed & is Active Investor with Slang Worldwide and with OG DNA Genetics. Bruce lives in Ottawa, Canada.
