Jonathan Vaught, PhD

As CEO Dr. Vaught has built a team committed to bringing the best of modern agriculture to high-value crops to improve reliability, efficiency and safety for farmers and consumers.

Professor Dedi Meiri

David Meiri, PhD, is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Biology at the Technion and a member of the Technion Integrated Cancer Center (TICC). Dr. Meiri holds a M.Sc. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in plant biotechnology from Tel Aviv University. He conducted his post-doctoral fellowship at the Ontario Cancer Institute where he focused on tumor invasion and metastasis.

In addition to the laboratory cannabis research performed onsite, Dr. Meiri collaborates with cannabis growers, clinicians, major manufacturers and distributors of medical cannabis for the purpose of revolutionizing cannabis treatment. He is operating the “Cannabis Database Project” and his lab is currently involved in eight clinical trials covering diverse aspects of cannabis treatment such as colon disease, pain prevention, cancer treatment and epilepsy.

Oori Weishauss, PhD

Director of genomic solutions


Dr. Oori Weishauss is with NRGene since 2011, applying genomic tools for marker development in breeding projects of various crops. In the last several years he has specialized in cannabis genetics and become an expert in the field. Oori holds a PhD in plant and microbial genetics from the Hebrew University; his academic background is in genetics of plant secondary metabolism pathways.

Reggie Gaudino, PhD

Dr. Gaudino oversees the cannabis genetics and scientific research division for Front Range Biosciences. Formerly the President at Steep Hill, the acquisition of Reggie and his team has significantly advanced FRB’s breeding program, resulting in additional unique and advantaged cannabis and hemp varieties. Dr. Gaudino believes that by using science and technology to help customers succeed and increase profits, FRB can build stronger relationships and be a better partner for customers.
